
Asif brings nearly 30 years of diverse experience across the technology sector, spanning roles in the private and public domains. His career encompasses leadership positions in telecom, datacom, and IT, reflecting a broad and deep understanding of the digital infrastructure landscape.
Before joining Enfrashare, Asif served as Director of the Annotation Program at Motive Inc., where he supported the development of computer vision-based AI products. He spent over a decade at Jazz, Pakistan’s leading telecom operator, where he led Fixed Network Operations and Corporate Technical Support, significantly contributing to the company’s operational excellence.
Asif also made notable contributions to public sector innovation during his tenure as General Manager Operations and Project Director at the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB). There, he played a pivotal role in the automation of key government processes, driving digital transformation across several departments.
Earlier in his career, Asif was Director of Operations & Maintenance at Linkdotnet Pakistan, where he played an instrumental role in launching DSL services in 2007. He was among the pioneer engineers to introduce dial-up internet in Pakistan in the mid-1990s, working with early ISPs such as Asternet, Supernet, and Orbit.
Academically, Asif holds a BEng (Hons) in Electronics Engineering from the University of Manchester (UMIST), UK, and an Executive MBA (Gold Medalist) from IBA, Punjab University.
