Anjum Altaf Shahid is a seasoned Finance and Management professional with over 23 years of multinational experience across the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. He has held senior roles with leading telecom and consulting firms, including PwC, Mobilink, Etisalat, and Uganda Telecom. Most recently, as Director Technical Finance at IHS Towers (Nigeria), a billion-dollar listed telecom infrastructure company, he managed a technical budget exceeding USD 500 million and drove financial efficiency and process transformation.

Anjum has delivered high-impact results throughout his career, such as leading a USD 214 million Green Energy initiative at IHS and improving EBITDA by 18% at Uganda Telecom. His expertise spans corporate structuring, M&A transactions, and implementing SOX-compliant governance for international listings. He also has a proven track record in managing large-scale financial operations and ERP implementations, including SAP and Dynamics D365.

Anjum holds multiple professional certifications: Fellow Chartered Accountant (ICAP), Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA UK), and Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA UK). Beyond his executive leadership, he has contributed to the profession as a mentor and visiting faculty at leading institutions, including NUST Business School, teaching strategic financial management and performance management.
